How To Prepare For MRI Denver Exam

In order for an MRI Denver exam to be a successful at diagnosing a patient’s medical problem, the patient must be prepared prior to entering the Magnetic Resonance Imaging tube. Because any metal on the patient’s body or mettalic elements inside the body just as replacement joints or surgical clips can distort the resulting photographic images created by the MRI Denver exam, the patient should remove all jewelry and alert MRI staff regarding any possible metallic substances inside their body. Patients with pacemakers or other inserted metal chips should not undergo an MRI Denver exam. If a patient feels claustrophic, they should request a mild sedative prior to entering the MRI Denver tube so they can lie calm and still during the procedure.
